    Doberman's presentation on innovation at NEXT Berlin

    In October Doberman was one of the invited speakers to the NEXT Berlin Service Design Conference, a brand new European conference focused entirely on the design of digital services. Lisa Lindström from Doberman gave a presentation about Doberman’s design philosophy and our thoughts on how service design can bring true value to the management and innovation of services.

  • Kids rule at SXSW!

    Doberman gets on stage at SXSW to talk about how kids changed the way we design for adults.

    On Friday, March 13th, Doberman will cross another milestone when our CEO Lisa Lindström, together with Customer experience consultant Kerry Bodine, takes to the stage at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. To be among the speakers at this great event is an honor, obviously, but also a wonderful chance to spread a little of the Doberman love to a wider audience (estimated attendance: 133 000 visitors).

    Lisa and Kerry will be talking about how Doberman harnesses the knowledge gathered from doing user experience research with kids, a notoriously impatient, oblivious to strategic intent, indifferent and disloyal target audience. Instead of viewing them as an insignificant outlier, Doberman placed them in the center. We figured if we are able to devise ways of reaching such a tricky group of users and getting them interested, why not let those methods influence and improve how we create innovative, intuitive and delightful products and services for users of all ages?

    We are looking for a Senior Interaction Designer to join our close-knit and expanding New York office.

    In this role you will work on our most exciting and innovative projects from a UX and Interaction design perspective. Our clients include Google, Oscar, MoMA and New York City. Projects range from drilling deep into a specific touchpoint to developing physical and digital touchpoints within larger service ecosystems. Your objective is to create solutions and experiences that make a genuine difference in the lives of people. Collaborating closely together with the project team and clients, you work through research and insights, concepting and implementation of delightful and desirable product and service experiences.

    • A solid understanding of the design process from research and insights to concepts to wireframes and flows.
    • User research experience, conceptual thinking and prototyping skills as well as solid digital know-how
    • An interest in the service design approach and methodology

    • User research experience, conceptual thinking and prototyping skills as well as solid digital know-how
    • A strong interest or passion for the service design approach and methodology
