Doberman's presentation on innovation at NEXT Berlin

In October Doberman was one of the invited speakers to the NEXT Berlin Service Design Conference, a brand new European conference focused entirely on the design of digital services. Lisa Lindström from Doberman gave a presentation about Doberman’s design philosophy and our thoughts on how service design can bring true value to the management and innovation of services.

You can see the presentation at the NEXT website. Enjoy!

It's official - we are opening an office in The Big Apple!

Two years ago, at one of our internal co-lab days, all the people at Doberman made a unified decision to establish a permanent office in New York City. So we packed our bags and went over there to try it out. It turned out pretty well. Now, we have a bunch of clients and are opening a shop on Manhattan.

    – We’ve worked on international assignments for 15 years. So this is a natural step for us and an opportunity to get even better at what we do, says Lisa Lindström, CEO at Doberman.

Managing Director at the New York office will be Anders Frostenson and we are proud to announce that we already have projects for clients such as Oppa, Thrive Capital, MTA, Spree and Spotify.

    – New York is at the moment a pretty magic place for service innovation and design. The growing start-up scene is great proof of that and the demand for our capabilities have been quite overwhelming, says Anders Frostenson, Managing Director for the New York office.

We look forward to telling you more over the year. Stay tuned!

Touch screen user interface design for New York City Subways

Doberman have helped Control Group and MTA design the user interface for the revolutionary touch screen network in the New York City Subways that will serve over 2 million tourists and commuters every day.

Each kiosk is a large 47-inch touch screen centered around an interactive map experience. You simply tap your intended destination, and the map will draw your route, including any transfers.

MTA will begin rollout of the 90 kiosks in New York City later this year.
